Qualification
Fifteen clubs have qualified for the 2021/22 Challenge Cup in the following ways:
Challenge Cup
- Gallagher Premiership (5): the five clubs which did not qualify for the Heineken Champions Cup.
- TOP 14 (6): the six clubs which did not qualify for the Heineken Champions Cup.
- United Rugby Championship (4): the four clubs which did not qualify for the Heineken Champions Cup from last season’s PRO14.
